Nilde Castagno

Nilde was a thin lady with wavy gray hair and a fringe... thinking about it now, she somewhat resembled Patty Smith, but with more graceful features.

She had a large white dog named Pisolo, who always slept on the doormat in front of the front door.

Nilde baked excellent donuts, and whenever storms and hail struck her family's precious wheat fields, she used to throw candles decorated with images of saints out the door, uttering ritual words meant to appease the storm.

This cauldron is inspired by her. On the front lies a chestnut leaf; the hills where she lived were abundant with them.
