Élia Peppermint

Aunt Élia was my grandmother's twin. She was a decidedly sharp character, but also a little sweet, like the taste of the plant I depicted on the cauldron dedicated to her.

She lived in a small house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by woods. Around this rustic dwelling, tiny black chickens and their offspring, a couple of red cats that had arrived there by chance, and her dog Billy, with his hoarse bark, pecked around.

The days of her rural life were marked by ritual phrases and gestures that served to assist every activity, so that it would be carried out with a positive outcome, seeking the intercession of that pantheon of divine figures, who could do and decide everything.
