Collection: Hic sunt dracones

The Dragons’ revenge!

In many medieval and Renaissance frescoes, dragons were among the main characters — though sadly, their adventures often came to rather undignified ends.

After all, at the time, dragons were seen as symbols embodying the evils of the world. For a saint or knight to prove their worth, they had to find the courage to face one of these mighty creatures — and, if possible, defeat it.

Luckily, dragons aren’t merely creatures burdened with negative associations. Depending on the culture, they can also carry wonderfully positive meanings and have some rather curious habits.

And so, here is a new collection entirely dedicated to these lovable, much-persecuted giant lizards.
